“A 22-year-old Korean-American violinist earns a coveted spot at a prestigious elite music conservatory, but as the pressure mounts and microaggressions take hold, she begins to unravel – fighting to reclaim her artistry before it destroys her.”

Synopsis

Drea Kim, 22, is a tightly wound violinist who's spent her life preparing for the spotlight. When she joins a prestigious elite music conservatory, she finally steps into the world she's trained for. But the warmth of arrival quickly cools. She's met with condescension, coded insults, and a system designed to suppress anyone who doesn't fit the mold. Blisters become tremors. Applause turns into noise. As Drea spirals toward burnout, she must choose: continue performing for a world that refuses to hear her, or rediscover the sound of her own voice – offstage, on her terms.
